All our classes are leveled so that you can more easily choose the class that suits you.

Level 1 is for students new to yoga. Focus in the class is on alignment and basic safety tips while practicing so students can develop a solid understanding of the basics. This level is also suitable for those who have some yoga experience but have not had a lot of physical activity recently.

Level 1-2 combines both Level 1 and Level 2 by moving slightly faster while focusing on developing a deeper understanding of the basics in asana.

Level 2 is also a faster paced class for ongoing yoga students already comfortable with the basics and for newer students looking for a challenge. Students will explore a wider range of poses.

Level 3 classes are more challenging for continuing students of yoga. More difficult poses, including inversions and back bends, will be explored.

Yoga Styles at RYA

Iyengar Yoga is yoga based on the style of B.K.S. Iyengar. Classes in this style introduce and explore yoga poses to encourage a broader understanding of how the body moves, as well as how the mind and intelligence can be linked to the movements in yoga.

Gentle Yoga is designed for people who prefer a slower paced movement class.

Align and Refine Yoga offers alignment based yoga and exploration into challenging personal boundaries.
